We’re in the final stages of pulling our very extensive garden makeover together (take a look at part 1 of the process on Youtube!) so I have been scouring the high street for affordable decor to finish it off.
What you won’t find here are slogan cushions, but instead, lots of tasteful items that can slot in beautifully to any design scheme in your garden.
There are loads of great pieces on the high street right now, Habitat is one of my all time favourites for quality and price, it’s hard not to shove an extra cushion or two into the trolley whilst I’m doing the weekly food shop!

This year there are some notable decor trends for 2025 that we are seeing throughout gardens including; fisherman aesthetic (lots of fish motifs), earthy inspired schemes, stripes, rechargeable lamps (everywhere!), and an abundance of bold colours .
There’s a little bit of everything in this shopping edit, covering decor, lighting and tableware for those summer garden parties and afternoon BBQ’s.
Solar lighting is a must have for creating an ambient look as the night starts to draw in, and this B&Q Pooky dupe rechargeable lamp is an absolute steal at £15. These basic lamps are ideal for moving around to tables or spaces that need some extra light, plus, once summer is over you can use it throughout the house.
My love for the fisherman aesthetic continues, and this adorable sardine side plate from Primark is only £4.50, the most delightful scallop edge detail and would look beautiful on a styled table for dinner outside.
If you have some unsightly flooring in your garden, a rug will hide a multitude of sins. Get one large enough to sit comfortably underneath your chairs, table or furniture setup and watch how it instantly lifts the area. This striped rug from Habitat offers unbelievable value, even if it only gets you through a couple of summers.
What are you loving from this weeks shopping edit straight from the high street?
