The collaboration we never knew we needed.

It’s the collaboration we never knew we needed, but British fragrance brand Jo Malone have collaborated with the quintessentially English paint brand Little Greene for the most perfect release of 5 limited edition candles.

If you thought the scents would be good, just wait until you see how pretty they look in the Little Greene coloured glass vessels, using some of their most soothing paint shades.

Indeed, this is one of the most perfectly aligned interior collaborations yet, as well as being highly on-trend with the soft, muted shades that we’re reaching for in our homes this year.

Jo Malone X Little Greene

This exclusive collection brings together five beloved Jo Malone London home scents, each thoughtfully chosen to suit a different mood or moment.

Reimagined through the lens of Little Greene’s distinctive palette, every candle is dressed in carefully curated colours and patterns drawn from their archive of paints and wallpapers.

Ruth Mottershead, Creative Director of Little Greene says: “We were absolutely delighted that Jo Malone London wanted to work with us. We’re a family business, so we’re really passionate about what we do. We care about paint and pattern and colour, whilst Jo Malone London create that beautiful ambience within the home, and putting all of that together really creates something special.“.

Each of the Jo Malone London candles in this collection have been matched with a Little Greene paint colour. The process of choosing the colours to go with the scents was really quite intuitive. As soon as we had the themes through from Jo Malone London, it felt like we knew exactly what we wanted to do“.

Housed in elegantly understated glass vessels, each candle pairs one of Jo Malone London’s iconic scents, Lime Basil & Mandarin, English Pear & Freesia, Myrrh & Tonka, Pomegranate Noir and Lavender & Moonflower, of course, with a beloved Little Greene paint shade.

From the soft tones of Salix and Silent White to the richness of Masquerade, Light Peachblossom and Bone China Blue, each combination has been carefully curated to evoke a distinct mood. Completing the collection, every candle is accompanied by a coordinating wallpaper design, making each piece a true celebration of scent and style.

With this collection, we really hope that customers take away the relationship that we’ve created between pattern, paint, scent and wellbeing. For us at Little Greene and at Jo Malone London, we’re really finding that customers care about the spaces they are designing. It’s about creating an interior, but also the mood of the interior. This collection provides the complete package to help you achieve this in your home“, said Ruth.

I find myself being influenced by the colours first and foremost, I fell in love with the shade Masqeurade when Little Greene launched it, it’s the most perfect elevated, warm neutral which is earthy yet versatile enough to pair with any shade. This candle is warmed by notes of patchouli and guaiacwood, Pomegranate Noir’s scent.

The packaging of this candle pays homage to their Spring Flowers wallpaper, the most beautiful ditsy floral print that feels fresh and uplifting.

Ambience meets style and colour seamlessly with this darling collaboration, I think I want to collect them all! The full collection is now available to shop directly through Jo Malone.
