Nothing gets a Brit hanging the washing, pulling the chair cushions out and the pressure washer out quite like a bit of sunshine, and with picky dinners and evenings with friends on the horizon, it’s time to dust off the outdoor tableware and get some new on-trend pieces for the season ahead.
You may have seen that we have recently finished our front garden makeover, and we’re now just at the styling stage of finishing the back garden. Do we have an outdoor dining set? No. Have I already virtually bought all the tableware though, gotcha!
I’ve spent so long looking at the tableware hitting the shops this year, so, here you’ll find 9 bang on trend coastal tableware picks to bring the med to you this summer.

The fisherman aesthetic is still very much fuelling our interiors inside, and out, with lots of tasteful nods to fish. The Amalfi collection from Primark (sweet sardine butter dish), is one of the best I have seen from Primark. They’ve seriously upped their homeware game this year, and the prices are purse friendly too!
It’s no coastal setup without some lovely natural, rattan details thrown into the mix. I love these John Lewis tumblers, they bring a tactile feel to a table setup, and there’s even a stylish wicker food cover to keep those pesky flies at bay.
I love these urchin jugs from Graham & Green, they’re fun, playful and just a little bit different. Use them for water on a table and swap with a bunch of fresh flowers to bring some style to your interior.
Anthropologie have some really cute tableware bits with a nod to the med at the moment, these colourful, striped napkins are reusable too so you can reuse these year after year, and good enough for those rainy days indoors too.
Now, you know where to find me this summer!
