If you’re set on heading abroad on your romantic Christmas getaway, think about where’s best to visit. Instead of expensive New York, London, or Paris, think about cheaper locations. Tallinn in Estonia or Riga in Latvia are sure to have snow, but are off the beaten track. Historic Central European cities such as Prague, Bratislava, and Krakow are wonderfully atmospheric!

Flights and accommodation aren’t as cheap as they used to be, but there are still deals out there waiting to be snapped up. And one of the best ways to find them is by using a VPN.

Instead, plan your Christmas staycation in early December, late November, or early January. Who said that the festivities needed to end on Boxing Day?
