Brass Edit: 30 Brass Beauties For The Home

brass homeware ideas

Can we just take a second to appreciate the metal of the moment, Brass. Ok, so we’ve been here before with copper like 5 years ago which aged as quickly as it arrived. But brass, brushed brass, satin brass, polished brass is a metal which has survived the eras. It’s not as flashy as copper or gold and has always been a finish favoured in period properties and homes of distinction.

I love the warmth that brass can bring to an interior and it can look sophisticated, elegant and well as being timeless. When you’re investing a lot of money into interior hardware and decorative finishes you want to make sure that it’s still going to be ‘in’ in 5 years time. Brass for me is a fail safe metal if you like that sort of look. There are SO many brass items around at the moment, so I’ve sourced 30 brass beauties for the home to help you with the finishing details in your interior.
