Warning: This post may make you hungry.
You might have seen in my life lately post about the newly opened Barcode leisure complex in Plymouth that has undoubtedly changed the Plymouth that we have always known.
It feels amazing to finally have a lovely place to head to in the evening, with plenty of food and drink choices, along with the new Cineworld.
I had the pleasure of being invited back to the Cosy Club Plymouth for an evening of food and drink last week which gives me the perfect opportunity to show you around…
Cosy Club is part of the loungers group, we also have one of their sister restaurants Seco Lounge in Plymouth which is situated in the Royal William Yard. It is legit somewhere that I spend the majority of my evenings as it really is my local, and I love it!
Just like Seco Lounge, Cosy Club is probably one of the most inviting and dare I say it ‘cosy’ places for those catch ups with friends that you haven’t seen in ages, that first date, or somewhere you’ve already been to 3 times that week.
It is the place to be if you’re in the city centre in Plymouth and looking for somewhere cosy and chilled with a lovely atmosphere.
As you enter the Cosy Club the initial seats and bar stools are designed for lounging when you’re grabbing a few drinks with friends whatever time of the day you arrive.
Cosy Club has a very similar quirky theme going on like Seco Lounge and I just love it! Leopard print tables and pink toilets for the ladies, I’m sorry, but forget the food, I’m already sold!
It oozes character, and needless to say, the views from the table seats by the window are amazing for people watching and watching the world go by.
Once we were seated, it was time for food and drinks!
We tried a lovely selection of tapas on the preview launch night at Cosy Club so I was excited to see what the full menu had to offer.
Pretty pictures of glasses of gin was a must. Candles at the table? So much Hygge!
Their choice of tapas are perfect for either starters or sharers for a main meal. I opted for the goat’s cheese and spinach croquettes which were delicious. I’d also recommend the mini Gloucester old spot sausages and pulled beef brisket on ciabetta, yum!
It was then time for the mains. Whether you want something healthy (who we kidding), burgers or a classic dish then there is something for everyone to devour.
I went for the chicken, bacon and avocado burger which was insane. I am literally obsessed with avocado this year like the basic millennial I am, and it was such a perfect combo.
I was so full, but obviously had room for dessert…OBV.
Pudding is the best bit, right?
Mini cinnamon doughnuts with dips and literally the god of the dessert world, melting chocolate bombe with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, chocolate sauce, caramel cream and hot caramel sauce.
It was UNREAL. I could literally eat all this again!
Look at that!
I want to say a big thank you to Cosy Club Plymouth for letting me try out their new venue, we honestly had the best time and I am excited to head back for our Plymouth November’s bloggers brunch for a stack of pancakes!
Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or somewhere different to start your night before going out out, then Cosy Club is honestly the place to be right now.
Have you eaten at Cosy Club before?
