I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I really am happiest by the sea, and probably the main reason that Plymouth will always have a hold over me. This is my favourite spot to sit, reflect and think about life in Plymouth. It’s even beautiful on the moodiest of sea days, even after that gal Doris had swept through the city.
After the most manic and stressful 2 months, I did a bit of reflecting by the sea on Saturday morning. The gentle lapping waves make it easy to clear my mind, even for all but a little while, and to think forwards to the future. I have big plans for 2017, and although the first 2 months have felt like a bit of a roller coaster, you don’t get flowers without rain, right?
The evenings are getting lighter, I’m finishing work to daylight which makes a huge difference, and I didn’t even have to wear a coat for these outfit pictures, what a dramatic difference to the last lot of photos I took where I almost froze to death in a blouse! I did layer up with this cosy Animal jumper though, who knew Animal did high street style too? I still always think of them as the surfy shop, it’s the perfect jumper for lounging around in in the house too! There really is nothing better then getting home and jumping into your slouchy clothes in the space of 10 seconds, it really is the small things in life that make us the happiest, and make every struggle along the way worth it!
What do you think of this outfit?
