It’s now officially October and it’s acceptable for the winter knits to come out, yippeee.
This season is all about the hot chocolates, candles, cosy nights in, blankets, crisp morning walks and chunky knits and I AM HERE FOR IT! Isn’t autumn the best season of all?
I picked up this little ensemble in Exeter on my Birthday which I’m just in love with. This is something I would never have worn last year, but I’ve become massively fond of maxi style/pleated skirts this year as I actually don’t end up looking like an old lady in them, yey!
I was on the lookout for a blush pink knit to go with this, but when you want something you can never find it, so I went with this lovely baby blue jumper which is just the snuggliest thing I now own, it was even maybe a little too warm for this when I wore it on Saturday!
I’d seen this beaut of a bag on Instagram a few times, and it was my Birthday so I thought I’d treat myself! It’s not like I don’t already own about 1000 bags, but it was glittery and SO gorgeous! It’s perfect for looks like this, and has enough room for the essentials on nights out, which is mostly my phone, inhaler and my Skinny Dip London Krusty the clown purse! But lets face it, I’m a magpie when it comes to glitter, so the purchase was inevitable!
I’m loving styling up new outfits at the moment, and being more adventurous with my looks, I wonder what next weekends look will be….
Also a big love to everyone that wished me a happy birthday on Friday, I had the best day, and I finally got those Asos Cactus PJS that EVERYONE has, best day ever!
What do you think of this outfit? Have you picked up any winter knits recently? Are you a magpie when it comes to glitter?
