I love a tailored look these days, as it’s not always about having a ‘killer’ item of clothing that makes an outfit, it’s often the most simplistic, beautifully cut items that look so well put together. I love how blush colours are not just for spring, they’re all over the shops at the moment, and this makes me really happy.

I wear this look to work quite a bit, without the converses though, obv. As I’ve mentioned in a few work wear posts before, our dress code in the office is smart casual which is probably how I mostly dress anyway, and I’m so glad that these Topshop trousers allow me to still look super cool at work, and in pink! They’re the most beautifully cut, high waisted trousers and the pleat down the middle streamlines the legs of even the shortest people without looking like you have stumpy legs, it’s a winner in my eyes.

Topshop are the best for peg leg trousers like these, you just have to be careful what you team them with as it’s not something that will go with ‘everything’, I personally don’t think you can go wrong with a body or tight top that’s either grey or white. I like to keep with the soft pops of colour if I can. But as you can see, they’re not just for work – I wore these for pancakes on Sunday, and I could have definitely ate a few more stacks in them too.

What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of soft pastels for winter?
