Spring has finally sprung, and I am SO happy that the lighter mornings and evenings are finally on there way. My gosh does it make the working day so much more bearable, it also means I can get home from work in the light and manage to get some good blog pictures again too – yippee!
Spring also means that the pretty pastels make a return which I am most excited about. I’ve long been an ambassador for Primark, and there is nothing I love more than spotting a great find in there.
Last weekend I spotted this dreamy pleated skirt in there for £10 which was just too good to refuse, it’s the perfect spring like colour, it falls beautifully and it is an almost identical copy to the Topshop one, which is a fraction of the price! It’s undoubtedly the perfect spring time skirt, ideal for both casual and formal wear. I’m certain I’m going to get a lot more wear out of this, they also have it in a navy and black and white version, I think I’m going to need to them all…
A lot of people can get scared at the prospect of midi skirts but once you know what to wear them with you’ll never look back. For casual looks you can team with a jumper slightly tucked in or a t-shirt with some flat sneakers or boots. For a smarter look you could team with a vest and blazer or a smart t-shirt tucked in with heels or heeled boots.
With the 4 day weekend looming I am SO excited for a little bit of time off, I hope you all have a fantastic Easter weekend whatever you get up to, may it be filled with chocolate, sunshine and happiness!
What do you think of this outfit? What do you like most about spring? Are you loving Primark’s new spring range?
