Playsuit – Topshop
Patchwork Fringed Bag* – New Look
Sandals* – Matalan
Watch – Olivia Burton
I can barely believe it’s September already, I don’t feel ready to say bye to the summer just yet but the thought of Autumn bringing cosy knits and chunky boots quickly dispels any upset for the month. It’s great to see that with the comeback of 70’s fashion fringed bags are making the transition from summer festivals through to the Autumn. I don’t think I could be more smitten with a bag than this fringed patchwork bag from New Look. The patchwork of browns and subtle fringing on the sides of the bag is just enough fringe for me and combines the perfect autumnal colours! It’s also a lot bigger than I thought it would be so I can use it for shopping or work. Fringed bags really do offer that little bit more than your average handbag and like I said they are so versatile and can be worn casually in the day like this or dressed up for a night out. I’m sure this bag will also see me through to festival season next year!
I do love the current autumnal colours so I took my new khaki playsuit from Topshop for an outing, It will look just as good with opaque black tights when it gets a bit chily. I absolutely adore the shape of this playsuit and the cinched in waist is super flattering!
Do you like fringed bags? How would you style yours? What’s your favourite thing to wear in Autumn?
