Hello everyone, i hope you are all having a lovely weekend! I’m back in Southampton now for my last few weeks at uni, i don’t know where the time goes, its crazy and its also almost May too! I figured i hadn’t done a beauty favourites post for a while so i have compiled some products that i have been loving in April, enjoy!
Loreal Paris Elvive Fibrology shampoo and conditioner £2.99| Link
I remember hearing about this being released and knew i had to purchase it as soon as it came out. Although i have very long and thick hair it is ridiculously fine so my hair gets quite flat and i’m always on the look out for products to give my hair more volume. If i could liken the scent of these to anything it would have to be haribo gummy bears! It seriously smells so nice and fruity, the shampoo also lathers up so well which in my eyes is a sign of a good shampoo. The conditioner also leaves my hair so silky, overall i think it does help to achieve a bit more volume, but i think it might suit someone with shorter hair more, because come on i have an awful lot of hair to thicken and that isn’t going to happen in a few washes! I probably would repurchase though just because i love the combination of the both.
Models own speckled eggs nail polishes £5
Models own are definitely up there with all of their constant great releases but the speckled egg polishes are 100% my favourite! They come in 5 different colours and are all equally as beautiful! Firstly they look like mini eggs which are one of my all time favourite chocolates and they come in the prettiest pastel colours which are ideal for spring! Bit of a pig to remove from your nails but its so worth it, i honestly can’t stop looking at my nails when i use it!
Washi skin polishing kit* £6.95 |Link
This washi skin polishing kit was in my goody bag from the Southwest bloggers meet back in November but i have only just got round to using this! It comes in a pack of two, one smaller flannel which is intended for cleansing and a bigger one for dry skin polishing. I have only tried the small flannel for cleansing so far and i cant believe i haven’t tried this method of removing makeup sooner. Within the last year i have gone from using face wipes to cleansing with cotton wool and now to this. Using a flannel to remove my makeup has been the best thing i have discovered. I put some cleanser on my face first and massage it in and then with hot water i use the flannel to remove my makeup. Using a flannel is so much gentler on my skin and I really do know that i have taken all of my makeup off by using this and it is going to work out SO much cheaper in the long run. If you cant afford to purchase these then you can get some cheap flannels from Primark which do the same! I’m never using cotton wool again and would really recommend everyone to try this if you don’t already.
Nina Ricci Perfume* £24.95| Link
This is my favourite perfume for spring and i have also reviewed it in full here. I adore the fresh fruity smell of it and its a much lighter scent than some of my winter ones and i will be wearing this all spring and summer!
Lush carrots bath melts
My mum got me these carrot bath melts for Easter and its probably the cutest thing I’ve ever had from lush! They come in a bunch of three, which as you can see I’ve already used one and loved it! One carrot lasted me 3 baths, depending on how orange and bubbly you want the bath of course. The smell is quite peculiar but when its in the bath it honestly doesn’t smell of much. I LOVE lush bath bombs so much, their festive and seasonal bath bombs are always something i look forward to seeing! Unfortunately these aren’t available online anymore but its worth a look to see if there are any still left in-store!
Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer £4.19
So, i think most bloggers anyway have heard of this amazing product! I haven’t actually mentioned this concealer on my blog before and after they reformulated it i wasn’t sure whether it would be as good. I really have seen no difference in it though and its still just as good. I love the creamy formula of it as its so easy to work into your skin and cover up dark circles and spots and it really is a lasting formula and stays on my face all day. At under £5 you really cant go wrong with this, i also own in it 3 different colours for when i start to tan haha obsessed!
What do you think of my April favourites? Have you tried any of these before? What are you loving at the moment? If youve done a favourites post too do link me up as i would love a read!
