OOTD | Waterfall coat

Coat - Jovonnista
Jeans - Topshop
Shirt - George at Asda
Shoes - Office
Sunglasses - Guess Via TKmaxx

This seasons clothes are some of my absolute favourites! I am obsessed with waterfall style coats, and whilst this is also a trench coat that I picked up last year, undone it acts as a waterfall style jacket, I am loving the khaki and black ones in the shops too. They are the perfect lightweight cover up for this time of the year despite it still being freezing!! This shirt is another bargain buy from Asda that I picked up a few weeks ago, it's the perfect pastel coloured floral shirt for spring and it's great for wearing to work too with a smart skirt. Oh and these lace ups have not left my feet by the way! I've just spotted a very similar pair on the Primark Instagram page which are probably a 1/3 of the price so its definitely worth checking them out if you don't fancy forking out for a pair like these!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like waterfall jackets? Do you shop at Asda for clothes?

10 ways to de-stress your life!

I feel like this is a very relevant post to write right now, as many of you can probably relate it's really not easy to juggle a job, university or school as well as competing with your every day life and writing a blog! Bloggers are driven people and if you're like me I love to keep busy, almost too much sometimes that I forget to relax and appreciate the little things in life. Most of the times these things are appreciated in an Instagram photo and that's where it stops. It really is necessary to take a step back from everything and to find the time to do so as being so busy you can often miss the tell tale signs for stress, anxiety and worry. It's scary what bad effects stress can actually have on your overall body and for me my stomach problems have been the real indicator of stress for me and I think I was probably in denial that something like stress could cause some of the problems that I had been experiencing, so since I've admitted defeat and realised i can change my mindset, get myself back on track and learn to relax a bit more I wanted to share some of my top tips for de-stressing your life, most of which come cost free and since I have been doing so I really have felt so much better! Once you change your mindset you can do anything and these tips will keep you ticking over until you can go on a nice long holiday to relax some more...
1. I thought it would be best to start of with the easiest, cost free way to instantly de-stress. It simply is by deep breathing, self explanatory I know! if I've been in a nervous situation in the past such as a presentation or job interview to help ease the nerves I take a deep breath in through my nose for 10 counts and out through my mouth for 10, it immediately calms your nerves and helps to re focus. If you're getting particularly stressed over a situation it's equally as effective.
2. Head to the sea! Living by the sea definitely helps with this one, I'm not sure what it is about hearing the sea and basking in the sunshine, there is something very calming about it and if you close your eyes and take a deep breath it feels like you could almost be on a holiday, in that moment it helps you to remove yourself away from the worries and stress and live in the moment. If I can I try to get outfit pictures down by the sea too, it also helps that it makes a fabulous backdrop for my pictures!
3. Have a spa day. This is probably one of the most expensive ways to de-stress but it is totally worth it! Last week I headed down to a place in Cornwall called China Fleet which is a local health club and which has an Aqua Spa, it cost £16 but also included a pool and it was one of the most relaxing mornings ever, it had a jacuzzi, foot spas, different steam rooms and saunas, hot loungers - need I say more? It was fab! I felt so good afterwards and think it's definitely something I need to do on a regular basis!
4. Take up yoga! Yoga is something I have been wanting to start for months now, as well as helping with flexibility etc its great for focusing your mind and relaxing your body. You dont even need to attend a class to do it as there are soo many youtube videos you can do from the comfort of your own home, Blogilates does some great yoga/pilates videos. Setting a few minutes aside each day to do it is more than achievable!
5. Surround yourself with positive people, meeting up with my friends always does me the world of good. When you get into a rut or you're busy its too easy to say no and make an excuse for being busy but through my own experiences and trying to say yes more I always end up coming back having had the best time, with working 2 separate jobs it is hard to schedule in time but with planning an hour here or there it can help your overall peace of mind and take a break from working!
6. Social Media free zone - turning off all your mobile phones, laptops, tvs everything for an hour or more! Our digital lives really do take over, there doesn't seem to be a spare moment that I'm not on it or scrolling my Instagram feed. With school, blogging and work, we do spend the majority of our day looking at some kind of screen and I don't think we realise how much of an impact it can actually have. By switching it off for an hour and sitting in peace or reading a good book is the right kind of distraction we need. They also recommend switching off devices an hour before bed which helps you fall asleep faster as it allows your brain to switch off, I for one am terrible for not doing this!
7. Buy yourself a lush bath bomb! If you have read other posts like this to mine lush baths are a predominant feature, they do seem to solve all problems, I always feel much better after a long hot soak in the bath with a nice smelling bath melt or bath bomb (secret garden above is amazing FYI)! A nice, relaxing soak is one of the quickest ways to reach total relaxation and wash those stresses away.
8. Go for a nice long walk in the fresh air, this leads on from a social media free hour. Going for a brisk walk in the fresh air for 1 minute, 5 or more really helps to clear your mind. Any type of exercise for that fact is a great de-stresser!
9.Have a good laugh! I'm lucky to work with people that really make me laugh so much that my face and stomach are in pain from it and laughing really is the best cure for so many things as confirmed by Snoopy! Again this ties in with surrounding yourself with positive people, but of course it always helps if they are also hilarious! If you don't feel like going out watch a funny comedy film or tv programme, I love bad neighbours/bridesmaids and of course the Inbetweeners! They are sure to put a smile on your face. Laughter is also said to improve your blood flow and help your heart, it really does have many more benefits than just making you feel more relaxed.
10. Get crafting! I've always been a worrier even from a young age about the smallest things and crafts were one of the things that I could completely get stuck into and lose track of the time and everything else.

If I am having a particularly low moment I always remember the time that we had a taxi driver in Greece called Costas who kept repeating 'no worry, no stress' about everything - the Greeks are so laid back, sometimes too much but it always makes me laughs and as they say worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere! Just remember during your day that you can always find a spare moment to relax and de-stress, it's best to combat the stress and know how to deal with it now before it gets out of hand! If all else fails book yourself on the next plane out of here...

What do you think of my tips to de-stress? Do you have any other tips to add? Does stress cause you problems? Also please let me know if you like these types of posts as I have many others like this in mind!

OOTD | All about the nudes

Shirt - BikBok
Jeans - H&M
Bag - Topshop
Sandals - Topshop
Watch - Olivia Burton

If there's one thing I love just as much as pastels then it's nudes! I think nudes are such a beautiful colour and always look flawless, the Kardashians always wear the most perfect nude outfits head to toe. This long shirt was featured in my Spring clothing haul post and if you've still not checked out BikBok then you need to as their stuff is very similar to Forever21 and just as competitively priced. The sandals are so perfect for spring and I love the little heel they have, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to these then Primark have them in black and nude and they really don't look that different except for the heel being a bit higher. Needless to say that the bag is a match made in heaven for them and I was in dire need of a new bag anyway, it's the perfect shape and I love the long strap which makes it easy for carrying around on my (many) shopping adventures!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like nudes? What do you think of these sandals?

Lush Plymouth bloggers evening - Mother's Day & Easter range | 2015

On Tuesday I was invited down to Lush Plymouth to learn some more about their Mothers day and Easter collection and the new Gorilla perfume. I've been to a fair few events now over the time that I have been blogging and the Lush events are always the ones I anticipate the most. I have a serious addiction to Lush bath bombs, as do most people and the thought of having a bath with CLEAR water seems like the oddest thing in the world, I'm sure you can all agree with me on this huh?! Anyway, the evening did not disappoint and once again I left with a list as long as my arm of the things I want to pick up on my next trip!
We were greeted with our own Lush pot with our blog name on which I think was such a cute touch, it has already made pride of place on my shelf in my room! Seriously how cute are the rabbit bath bombs?! More about that later...
Mini Colin the Caterpillars and Percy pigs!! I wondered if the evening could possibly get any better...
After introducing ourselves to one another we had an Easter egg hunt!
My blogger team didn't win the hunt but it was such a fun thing to start the evening with and if you like snow fairy then you will love these Easter egg bath bombs as they are scented exactly the same.
Adam then introduced us to the new perfume Gorilla which adds to their existing perfume range. To be honest I normally don't even check this section out as it's all about the bath bombs and melts for me, but it was really interesting learning about the different perfumes and the story behind the making of them.
The style of the perfumes are so cool, it does remind me slightly of cleaning sprays though - they are unisex perfumes too! They also come in solid forms and I was lucky enough to take one home with me.
It was then onto the mother's day collection and time to trial the yummy mummy shower gel and yummy mummy body conditioner..
The lovely Leonuh testing out the product, the colour of the shower gel is amazing and so sparkly which has a lovely floral scent to it.
The gift sets are always so much fun and the design work that goes into them is evident, I loved this one which had the concertina effect of the sun.
This was the product of the Rose Bombshell bath bomb, it looks like a plain white bath bomb but as it starts expanding in the water all of a sudden some pink rose petals burst out! I just had to come away with one of these and can't wait to test it out in my bath!
Next up was the ultraviolet bubble bar.
So many bubbles!
The Secret Garden bath bomb was one of my favourites - you may have already seen the cool art that the bath bomb created on my Instagram (NicoleLsage). I usually just hop in the bath with the bomb at the same time but from now on I will be sitting back and watching the colours take shape as I have definitely been missing out!
Oh the bubblegrub is one of the cutest bath bombs there is, based on the hungry caterpillar a childhood favourite story book of mine, this bubble bar means that you can have one bath orange or another as green, or mix and match if you wish!
I had the rose bubble bar last year which I loved, I just think it's the prettiest looking little thing!
A last bubble bar from the range is mother superior which is essentially a nun! Isn't it adorable?!
Then it was on to the Easter range, I love that there are so many different collections, not helpful for my bank balance though...
The gift set of dreams.. what could be better than a carrot shaped present containing carrot shaped bubble bars, a golden egg bath bomb and carrot soap!
The said carrot soap complete with it's own straw grass and the middle stamped with the against animal testing symbol.
I had these carrot bubble bars last year for Easter and will be buying them again this year as they are just so cool! Who doesn't want to share their bath with some carrots?!
I loved the look of this! I have tried their shower jelly's before but after watching how it's actually meant to be used I have been failing terribly at using them.. I didn't realise you use it in its full shape and rub it on as I used to break bits off it to use which is slightly embarrassing, I did always wonder why the little bits never washed me properly.. never mind! This gorgeous golden gloop smells like honey and caramel and is super moisturising!
Eggcellent bath bombs...
I got to take one of these home which I am too excited to use, they smell just like chocolate which I was not expecting after looking at the colour of them and once broken in half they have a tiny bunny bath bomb inside them making them similar to the valentines love heart lockets which had a tiny heart bath bomb inside too.
So cute!
I think every blogger had their eyes on these, anything gold and glittery will always win me over. My hands were covered in glitter by just touching the eggs so I can imagine how amazing the bath will be, I don't think my mum will be too impressed though...
Posing with my favourite Easter bath bomb Hoppity Poppity, just because of its sheer cuteness, to be honest though I adore every single product from the Easter range!
After learning about the new collections we got to pick an item from the mothers day, Easter and perfume range wrapped up in our own cute vintage scarf to take away!
I had the most enjoyable and fun evening at Lush and with the other Plymouth bloggers, it's always so fab to meet other local bloggers. Thanks again to Lush Plymouth for organising another unforgettable event, you know it's been a great evening when you leave covered in glitter and smelling like the shop! I now can't wait to get stuck into my bath bombs and return to purchase my list of the other bits from the collection, the golden egg and hoppity poppity are at the top of my list! The Mothers Day and Easter stock  wont be around for long and is subject to stock lasting so make sure you get a visit in before you miss out on the new collections! Anyway, whatever you are up to today I hope you all have a fabulous Mothers Day!

What do you think of the new Easter and Mothers Day collection? What products have caught your eye? What are your plans for Mothers Day?
