OOTD| Tropical bomber

Crop top - Urban Outfitters
Bomber - Primark
Jeans - H&M
Heels - Deichmann
Clutch - New Look

The weather has been less than ideal over the bank holiday weekend and the frequent showers make taking outfit pictures a nightmare.. The sun shone in between the showers yesterday so I seized the opportunity! Another beautiful Primark addition to the wardrobe is this tropical bomber, it's seriously my new found love! They also have a matching pair of shorts which I'm on the hunt for as my store don't currently stock them, let me know if you spot them anywhere! I also wore this outfit on bank holiday weekend as it was far too cold and rainy for a dress or shorts and this was the perfect happy medium. Cannot stop wearing these heels either, they are seriously comfy and I hate walking in heels during the day too!

I hope you enjoyed reading, James is down for the week and we are off to Newquay today yippee, I'm just hoping the weather is okay but I'm not counting on being able to catch a swim in the sea, maybe next year!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like bomber jackets?

Sharing the blog love #1

This is a post I have wanted to incorporate into my blog for a while now. I read A LOT of blogs, and I love discovering new ones all the time and I also like reading over posts like this who share some of their favourite smaller bloggers allowing them the exposure that they deserve! I'm thinking if people like this type of post then it will definitely be a regular feature as I have recently stumbled upon many amazing lesser known blogs through twitter chats, social media and from readers on my blog leaving their link. Without further ado I want to introduce to four fabulous blogs that you may or may not have heard of before!
I am SO glad I stumbled across Kirsty's blog a couple of months ago. Curiosity took over when I realised she was living in Finland, if you didn't know I spent a year on exchange there so whilst I'm still coping with the loss of the beautiful country I'm living my life through her and get excited at every lifestyle/travel post that she does. Her writing style is so witty and her posts always leave me laughing! You can also find posts about fashion and beauty, a really fab all rounder and I guarantee you'll feel the same way about her blog! Her photography is also flawless too as is her Instagram, so many pretty pictures!
I cannot praise Jessicas blog enough, she was one of the first bloggers I ever met a whole year ago on twitter and she is just the nicest girl you will ever talk to! I have been reading her blog since about day one and I have really seen it come on in leaps and bounds! Her regular posts always keep me coming back, bringing you the latest trends, her personal fashion, lifestyle and beauty and fashion, another great all rounder blog. I love the variety that she offers and I am so impressed that she always has different ideas for posts! As if her blog and herself wasn't amazing enough she always leaves the nicest comments on all of my posts!
I envy Chloes style SO much! She always puts outfits together so well, being the epitome of chic and simplicty. She has upped her photography so much in the last few months with a new camera and I always look forward to seeing her latest looks. She's also started doing a few lifestyle posts which I love (I'm super nosey!). I'm the same with my blog really I do love posting my daily outfits but I love writing lifestyle posts too and I think its great that shes got the balance just right!
Last up is the amazing Sarah who is just the loveliest girl that I regularly speak to on twitter and the likes! She is so inspirational and from living with a chronic illness (unfortunately like myself) I can really relate to her trials and tribulations and love how she pushes on and writes such a lovely blog! Another blogger of a bit of everything I never know what she might be posting next which I love. Even though I'm a fashion blogger I think lifestyle blogs have to be my favourite and I love her posts like this, but shes a good all rounder and throws in some fashion and beauty into the mix too!

I am so glad to have met so many amazing and lovely bloggers over the last year but this is merely a tiny dip in an ocean. There are too many amazing bloggers out there that deserve recognition like this and I feel that myself included are often overshadowed by the super bloggers which I know many bloggers are all familiar with. Sharing the blog love is so important and I have so much more to give! I would love for you all to check out these amazing blogs. Please let me know if you liked this post and if you would like to see something like this again?

Do you read any of these blogs? Do you like posts like this? If you have done something similar please link me up!

OOTD | Floral shorts

Shorts* - Minkpink via Psyche
Blouse - Hollister
Necklace - Bikbok
Bracelet* - Fapos
Boat Shoes - Sperry

Without a doubt this will be the last time I wear anything remotely summery, I'm such a wimp when its gets cold. I cant even remember how I used to cope in Finland when it was -30 degrees! These Minkpink via Psyche shorts are just beautiful I absolutely love the high waisted cut and how they drape perfectly, I love shorts that look like skirts too with no worries of them blowing up in the wind! They are currently in the sale too for just £24.50, over half price! There are lots of colours running through the shorts so I teamed it with an old white blouse from Hollister, the mint embellished collar matches perfectly with the colour in the shorts. I do love this blouse but its quite see through and doesn't exactly keep me warm. I'm on the look out now for a crisp white shirt that will look fab layered under many cosy jumpers, any ideas where I could purchase one? Roll on Autumn!

I hope you all have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, what are your plans?! What do you think of this outfit? Have you heard of Psyche before? Will you be packing your summer clothes away now?

Scent City niche perfume | Review

30ml Alice & Peter Perfume* £40- Scent City
You may have seen this gorgeous Alice & Peter Fancy Choco perfume pop up on my Instagram (NicoleLsage) a while back, well the Scent City will launched their website on the 18th August and are selling a whole host of products like this perfume. The Scent City is an exciting new retailer of niche perfume and luxury interior fragrances. This scent offers something really creative and unique to the normal fragrances on the market which you can buy anywhere, wearing a niche perfume from the scent city can ensure individuality and wearing something different to everyone else!
I have been testing out the Fancy Choco perfume which is just one in the range of Alice & Peter perfumes. Also available is the wicked berry, cheery cherry, bloody orange and showy toffee which are all just as show stopping in the looks and smell department as this one! The packaging is always what first attracts me to a product and this just excels in every department. It really is that one step ahead of the mainstream perfume department and I absolutely love the colouring and that the packaging is appropriate to the scent of the perfume.
Onto the most important aspect of a perfume and the main selling point which is the scent! It's described as being 'a modern duo of mint and citrus take flight to an isle of tropical fruit'. This perfume contains a lot of different notes to the scent and the base scents contain chocolate, amber, vanilla amongst others. I wasn't too sure what chocolate would smell like in a perfume but i'm completely converted! Every time you smell it you get a different note to the perfume, the underlying chocolate smell is ever so subtle and and the citrusy/tropical scents make it really fruity and light which makes it a perfect scent for the warmer months.
The bottom of the box contains more informative information about the scent, again I just love the packaging and colours of the product!
Overall as a scent I absolutely adore it, its so different to other fragrances I own and if you're looking for something out of the ordinary and different to typical scents then head to Scent City to discover some more of their amazing niche perfumes!

You can also follow them on:

Does a niche perfume like this interest you? Have you got a perfume like this? Have you heard of Scent City before?

OOTD| Ready for Autumn

Dress - Topshop
Cardigan - Primark
Necklace - River island
Heels - Deichmann

Okay, so I am now totally ready for Autumn! I can see this being my go to casual look for Autumn. Duster coats and long cardigans seem to be the thing for the upcoming season and I could not be happier about that! They are so great to throw on with anything and Primark are spot on with their selection at the moment. I picked this one up last week and its just love, its so cosy and warm and the monochromatic colours look perfect with this cami slip on. I also picked this up from Topshop basics at the weekend, its so comfy and is going to be a staple item in my wardrobe for the next few months. Thinking about it everything's new in this outfit, I definitely deserved a treat as I hadn't bought anything in weeks! I had my eye on some heels like this for ages, there are loads of black ones on the market but I love the beige suede ones and they are surprisingly okay to walk in, yippee!

Also what do you think of my nails?! I had a go at creating marble nails on the weekend which were surprisingly easy, I love them! Let me know if anyone would like to see a tutorial on them!

What do you think of this Autumnal outfit? Are you loving the long cardigans too?

Ark Co-ords wishlist

Co-ords have been one of the hottest releases this summer and the popularity and availability of them shows no sign in stopping soon! I am seriously lusting over Ark co-ords at the moment which are great transitional pieces from the summer into fall. I've picked the best of the bunch which I cant wait to get my hands on! What I love is that these can be dressed up or down and can be worn with tights and a jacket in the colder months as well as being mix and matched with other items of clothing, endless possibilities here! It would be hard to pick a favourite from my wishlist but I absolutely love the cute pineapple one with pom pom shorts, no surprise as I have loved anything tropical themed this summer! The white co-ord is also a firm favourite of mine which can be worn with anything and through all seasons!

What do you think of Ark co-rds? Are you a fan of co-ords? Whats your transitional piece of clothing from summer to winter?

OOTD | Contrasting

Playsuit - Urban Outfitters
Jumper - Topshop
Watch - Primark
Necklace - River Island
Sandals - River Island via ASOS

I've been making more of an effort at bringing some of my least worn clothes out of my wardrobe and making the most of them whilst the weathers still quite nice. I picked this gorgeous sequinned jumper up in the December Topshop sale and have literally worn it once.. I am the worst one for it, I get bored of clothes way too quickly but I need to stop this as I waste soo much money! I'm sure I cant be the only one?! Anyway, I've teamed it with my monochrome playsuit which has been worn to death over the past few years. I just have to make sure I don't need the toilet wearing this, as if wearing a playsuit was bad enough I have to add a jumper into the mix hehe! It's surprising what different ensembles you can get out of your wardrobe if you have a good look!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! What do you think of this outfit? Are you guilty of wearing clothes only once?

Travel | Rome, Italy

Following on from my first travel post on which was about Mykonos is all about Italy's beautiful capital, ROME! Rome was where the Celebrity Reflection cruise ship left from so we flew out a day early to allow us plenty of time before the cruise departed and to do as much as we could in Rome for the day. At the end of the cruise we also had a tour bus which was about 6 hours long around the city before we headed back to the airport. We pretty much managed to get everything done we wanted to do except for the Vatican City but I wasn't too fussed about that anyway. Rome is incredibly hot at this time of the year so if you want to do a lot of sight seeing then one of the colder months is probably best suited for you. Sit back and enjoy your whistle stop tour around Rome!
Italian hotels are renowned for being teeny tiny and this did not disappoint. We stayed at the River Palace hotel and which I would strongly recommend. It was basically in the centre and everything was easily in reach of the hotel. Of course the room and bathroom was tiny but that was to be expected. The generosity and kindness of the staff was so thoughtful, mini chocolates and the following days weather were left on our beds after getting back from an evening meal and the breakfast the following day was so sweet and there was pretty much everything you could ever want to eat for breakfast!
I had to throw this one in for all you beauty lovers! For years I thought that only Sephora existed in America, how wrong could i be! You really arent bagging yourself a bargain at prices on the euro exchange rate though.
We were so hungry by lunchtime having been up since 4am for our flight! I always find that some European countries don't understand the concept of just a plain sandwich for lunch, so the next best thing was a sweet Italian biscuit. Rome really is a rip of city, you have to be so wary about places that do not have signs up with prices. On our last day we ate in a similar place where 2 cups of tea and 2 biscuits cost 30 euros!!! I have heard much worse stories than this including an American couple who were charged 70 euros for just 2 ice creams. Rome is a wonderful place but you have to be so careful when it comes to being ripped off, if a place doesn't have a price list go somewhere else, unless you're rich of course!
Some of Romes fantastic architecture
SO many cute classic cars in Italy, I believe this is the original fiat 500, the newly released mint one is my dream car!
You won't find one street which isn't lined with Italian Vespers..
When in Rome do cliche things and eat pizza! You are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out as there are so many side streets with restaurants and cafes.
After our meal we headed to the Spanish steps where some kind of ceremony was going on, we then headed back to the hotel for a good sleep before boarding the cruise, sight seeing all day is completely exhausting!
As mentioned before we headed back to our room to find the cutest Italian chocolates, i wish i got this service at home every night! So that was the end of our first day in Rome, I'll now move on to what we got up to after the cruise in Rome..
We began the tour in the mini bus by climbing right to the top of Rome which lended to us the most fantastic view over looking Rome, this picture really does not do it justice!
It cant be a blog post without some kind of outfit picture right?! I love this outfit so much its just so simple to wear, the shorts are Topshop and the crop top is Miss Selfridge!
Beautiful Roman fountains, sorry I cant remember the exact name of the location. Everything seemed to roll into one as it was such a long and hot day!
Cute Italian eateries lining the streets, mostly amazing pizzerias!
It can't be a trip to Rome without visiting the Colosseum! It really was something i really wanted to see on my trip and it really is spectacular in person, we didn't pay to go inside to look as the queues were huge and we only had so much time in the place!
Okay so i was ripped off again.. I saw some 'Roman gladiators' and tried to snap them in the background without them noticing.. They quickly advanced on me and performed all types of flattery and without me knowing they'd taken my phone and taken loads of pictures and then demanded 10 euros!! 10 euros for some badly taken photos and i didnt even look that good gahh! Lesson learnt i guess and i'm safe in knowing that i cant be the only one, right?!
We then had a quick stop at Circo Massimo which is an ancient Roman chariot racing stadium, a lot of concerts are held here including the rolling stones only a couple of weeks previous to our visit!
One of the sights i was most looking forward to was the Trevi fountain, i was so sad when i saw that it was closed due to cleaning, because of this you cant really see the whole beauty of the fountain.
Neverthless, in true fashion i still made a wish with a coin, i hope it comes true!
Before we departed we managed to get one last picture of all of us together as a family,a truly great holiday!
I thought i would end it with a picture i found highly amusing. I couldn't believe it when i spotted this little Tinder van in the streets of Rome haha!

I really would recommend anyone to take a trip to Italy, just be aware of rip off Rome and have your wits about you. Apart from that it is such a beautiful and stylish city which i'm so glad i had the chance to visit!

I hope you enjoyed my second travel post from the cruise! Have you visited Rome before? What do you think of Rome? Would you like to travel Italy?
