OOTD | Faux fur waistcoat

Fur Gilet - Bershka (old)
Top -Primark
Skirt -Topshop
Tights - Primark
Necklace - Miss Selfridge (old)
Boots* - Bank
Happy Weekend to you all! I hope you are having relaxing weekend and you are excited to start your advent calendars tomorrow! I have just opted for the traditional chocolate one this year, the beauty calendars really do appeal to me and i think they are an amazing idea but i just cant justify the price for items that i probably wont use! Maybe another year though, what advent calendars have all of you got?!

I have always been a fan of patterned tights and they can really jazz up and make any outfit look a bit different! I got these from Primark a while ago for a mere £1.50! I love Primark's wide selection of hosiery but if i was opting for a more expensive make it would definitely be Pretty Polly or Calzedonia and they are probably a lot better quality as i find these unfortunately ladder after a few wears.

It wouldn't be one of my favourite outfits without a bit of fur thrown in there haha! This fur gilet is seriously old now but they never really go out of fashion and they are a great for adding an extra bit of warmth to an outfit!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like patterned tights? What advent calendars are you all going to be opening tomorrow?

November favourites

Wow, this month has gone so fast which i'm rather happy about as it means its nearly Christmas yey who is excited?! I haven't had much time for my blog this week as i have so many deadlines due in the next few weeks, so bare with me! Anyway, here is what i have been loving this month!

Loreal Paris Elvive nourish and shimmer highlights shampoo- Believe me i get through a lot of shampoo, with swimming training most days and having a lot of hair i need to find something that's very moisturising and i know when i find it. I have come back to this brand a few times now and i love the lather you get from this product,i always think that's a good indication as to whether its moisturising enough! As well as the nourishment of this product it is also meant to enhance your higlighted hair which it really does with my hair,it almost looks too shiny nowadays! Overall it a great nourishing shampoo and it smells lovely!

Oleo Argan oil - I did a full review on this here a few weeks ago and i'm still loving it! I occasionally use it in my hair when it needs it but i prefer using this as a moisturiser as it really sinks deep into the skin and you still feel moisturied hours later!

Soap & Glory The Scrub of your life & The Righteous Butter - I received both of these products in the relax station set for my birthday and beforehand i had never really used Soap & Glory products which i don't understand as their whole range is amazing! Firstly, the smell of both of these products is heavenly, its such a luxurious scent and feels so nice to apply after a bath or shower. I find the scrub makes my skin super smooth afterwards and applying the butter straight after helps to lock the moisture in. The righteous butter is one of the most moisturising butters i have used and despite the price of around £10 a pot i would definitely repurchase this!

Bourjois delice de poudre bronzing powder - I was in need of a new bronzer and i picked this up on 3 for 2 in Boots a couple of weeks ago. I love the colour of this bronzer and i find its highly pigmented, although i have to be careful that i don't apply too much as it can look quite dirty and unnatural. If i blow the excess off the brush before and then apply it it looks great for contouring!

Bourjois healthy mix serum - I'm fed up of never finding a foundation that suits my combination skin and struggling to find the right colour to suit my skin tone so i opted for 53 in the healthy mix serum after hearing really great things about it. The honey colouring of it is a bit different to what i usually wear but its gives me a really nice healthy colour and i find it gives me a subtle dewy look without it being too oily, although i do find that my face can resemble an oil slick by the end of the day if i don't wear powder! But for now its my favourite foundation until i get my hands on the coveted Nars Sheer Glow!

Models own Emerald city - This is seriously my favourite colour for this Christmas. Its such a bright emerald colour and the amount of glitter it has is amazing, i usually use 2 coats of this and remains chipless for days. If you're also a lover of glitter polish you can vouch for me when i say its impossible to remove!! Its about time a special remover was invented for glitter polish!

I hope you enjoyed reading! What do you think of my November favourites? What are your favourites this month?

Christmas Wishlist

1. Sleek Face contour kit - £6.49  Link
2. Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring - £3.75 Link
3. River Island quilted wellington boots - £40 Link
4. Moroccan oil Moisture Repair Conditioner - £17.25 Link
5. Knitted cloud fluffy jumper - £40 Link
6. Nars Sheer Glow foundation - £30.50 Link

With Christmas just around the corner now i thought it was about time to have a think about what i would like for Christmas! As my birthday was only just In September there isn't really much that i need and its rather a case of what i want haha! I actually prefer surprises at Christmas time and i love small presents over the big ones! But Christmas really isn't just about presents and i definitely love giving more than receiving! But if i was to pick a few things out this Christmas this is what would be on my list to Santa!

1. Sleek makeup is something i have wanted to try for a while now and after seeing lots of reviews on the face form palette and the contour kit and how to use it, i REALLY want to give this a try now! I've never been able to contour properly and have never even used a highlighter before so this would be a good start for me!

2. I saw these invisibobbles advertised in a magazine a few weeks ago and before then i had never even heard of them. They're meant to leave no kinks in your hair and to reduce the pull on your scalp, meaning less headaches. They sound brilliant but i'm dubious as to whether they would tightly hold my hair up,regardless to the fact i still want to give them a try!

3. I really want a pair of knee high boots for winter and my friend has this exact pair and they look so stylish with the patent black on the toes and the quilted material makes them look cosy and keeps them looking casual, at £40 i think that's a very good price!

4. After falling in love with Moroccan oil this year i would love to try out more of their products, its just a shame they are so expensive but i'm sure their other products are well worth the money as well so i would love to try out their intensive conditioner to improve my hair condition even more.

5. How do i still not have a fluffy jumper?! I have fallen in love with how soft they are but there is seriously so many colours to choose from that I've ended up not purchasing one! I love this colour though and the sparkly flecks in it and it would go with everything so its on my list!

6. Lastly is the holy grail of the makeup world which nearly the whole blogging community has tried! Is it really that good though?! I am still yet to find the perfect foundation for my combination skin, i alternate between looking like an oil slick and having dry/flaky skin so i'm really desperate to find the right balance in a foundation for my skin and i hope this is the answer!

I hope you enjoyed reading my Christmas wishlist I've got even more excited about the whole festive period now,if that's even possible haha!

Whats on your wishlist this year?

OOTD | Bank Fashion

Dress* - Bank
Boots* - Bank
Tights - Primark
Necklace - Primark

I am SO happy that it is Friday but i have so much university work that i will be spending the majority of the weekend doing it :( I'm so excited for Christmas now but then i realise how much i actually have to get finished before then, i better get a move on!

Anyway, onto this gorgeous outfit! Monochrome and Aztec in one dress is definitely a dream for me as they are my favourite colours and patterns together, this shift dress from Bank Fashion has such a nice loose fit and the texture of the fabric means that its quite warm. I've teamed it with my favourite neon summer necklace from Primark, it makes a bright pop of colour against the dark print. I have been after cut out boots since forever, and this pair of Zahara cut out boots from Bank really help to make the outfit and they are super comfy which is a great bonus! The heel is quite chunky but they are surprisingly easy to walk in which is perfect as i'm hopeless at wearing heels in the night let alone the day haha! I also wore my oversized boyfriend coat with this as its pretty chilly right now but where is all this snow that has been predicted?! This dress would also look amazing as a night time outfit with heels and some sparkly accessories!

Bank are one of my favourite stores to shop at and its even better that they offer 10% for all students and they also have some good sales on at the moment! They also have some gorgeous sequinned party outfits in store at the moment which i have my eye on for christmas!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like monochrome and aztec print?

OOTD | Christmas Jumper

Jumper - Primark
Jeans - Abercrombie
Scarf - Primark
Shoes - Converse
Mitts - Hand knitted by my mummy!

Seeing as its almost December and the weather is getting pretty chilly i thought it was about time i pull the chistmas jumpers out which by the way is my favourite item of clothing to match my favourite time of the year, who doesnt love christmas?! In true Primark style they have piles and piles of the novelty jumpers this year, i picked this one out for my birthday which i love because it doesn't scream out Christmas to you and it can be worn at anytime time in the cold months and not just for the festive period. The jumper makes a nice casual outfit and the penguin on the front is so fluffy and cute! When its cold weather the last thing i feel like doing is dressing up in cold outfits and heels, this is definitely more my style at this time of the year!

I also had to show you these gorgeous mitts that my mum knitted for me, how amazing are they?! The Norwegian pattern is so intricate and i really cant get my head round how you do it as I've tried to learn how to knit so many times and have only ever mastered the basic stitch! My mum has also knitted me socks, cardigans and phone cases in the past and now she is even making Christmas decorations which are just the cutest, she really is very talented! I will be sure to feature them in a blog post soon!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like Christmas jumpers? Can you knit?

OOTD | Fur Hat

Turtle neck sweater - Primark
Shorts - Topshop
Necklace - Ebay
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Fur hat - Flea market in Finland

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend! I am visiting home this weekend and i am loving being back, its nice to have a few chill out days with all the university work i have had recently as well as home comforts such as a bath! 2 months without baths and lush bath bombs is too long! Im also off to the south west bloggers meet today! Its my first event so I'm super excited/nervous at the same time, there will definitely be a blog post up on it later this week!

Running with the fur theme this week is this gorgeous mink fur hat that i picked up from a flea market in Finland for 10 euros, its very old but in such good condition. I don't usually like real fur but in Finland it was something that most people wore as you really need something that you know will keep you warm! Its definitely got SO cold here recently so its very appropriate to wear again!

I picked up my first turtle neck sweater from primark last week and i love it! They are all now in the sale for only £3 so i think I'm going to have to go back and purchase it in more colours!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like fur hats?
